You are welcome to come and visit us for the day and enjoy the pristine surroundings of our retreat center.

Day use fees are Rs 750/person, including the option of any 2 meals plus chai.

Breakfast is generally served between 8:45 and 9:30 am, Lunch between 1 and 2 pm, and dinner between 7 and 8 pm. Chai is served with breakfast and in the afternoon, usually at 4:30 or 5 pm. 

Day use visitors are also welcome to attend our group sadhana practices. Generally the morning session goes from 7:30 to 8:30 am, while the afternoon session goes from 5:30 to 7 pm (for guided Ananda yoga + a short meditation) or 6 to 7 pm (for meditation.) Again, please communicate in advance to confirm the activities and timings. Newcomers can also request a map to help them find their way to our group practices. The guest reception area is not open during our group practice timings.

Day use visitors coming on days between programs can avail of a room, subject to availability. Day use visitors coming during programs are welcome to participate in those programs, but rooms are less likely to be available. Special day use rates may apply during some programs, if so these will be specified in the prices table for those programs.

We follow and share a non-sectarian approach to yoga. The ancient science of yoga and meditation, made practical and applicable to daily life, is manifest in living form in our community life.

Ananda Pune started in 2007 as a young community and retreat center in the foot hills of the scenic Sahyadri mountains. Since then, the work has expanded widely, resulting in a vibrant center in the city at Ashoknagar, near the Pune University.

Guidelines

  •   In view of India’s moral and family traditions regarding marriage in particular, we require that unmarried couples, whether or not engaged to be married, reside in separate quarters.
  •   Recreational drug or alcohol use is strictly prohibited.
  •   Loud, disruptive or otherwise objectionable conduct is not permitted – guests are requested to be respectful of others’ spiritual practices and peaceful rest.

  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to be able to check into the hotel.
  • It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, and Passport. Without Original copy of valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check-in.
  • PAN card is not accepted as a valid ID card.
  • Extra mattress will be provided for triple occupancy bookings.
  • Pets are not allowed in the hotel premises.
